Dr. Masaru Emoto
Profile of Masaru Emoto, a founder of Office Masaru Emoto, LLC

He was born in Yokohama in July 1943. He is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University’s department of humanities and sciences, with a focus on International Relations. In 1986, he established the IHM Corporation in Tokyo. In October of 1992, he received certification from the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. Subsequently, he was introduced to the concept of microcluster water in the US and Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology. The quest thus began to discover the mystery of water.
He undertook extensive research of water around the planet, not so much as a scientific researcher, but more from the perspective of an original thinker. At length, he realized that it was in the frozen crystal form, that water showed us its true nature.
He has gained worldwide acclaim through his groundbreaking research and discovery, that water is deeply connected to our individual and collective consciousness
He is the author of the best-selling books Messages from Water, The Hidden Messages in Water, The True Power of Water and Love Thyself. He has now also authored two children’s books, The Secret of Water for the children of the world, and The Message from Water children’s version. He is a long-time advocate for peace in relation to water. He is currently the head of I.H.M.General Research Institute and President Emeritus of the International Water for Life Foundation, a Not-for-Profit Organization.
We all learn valuable life lessons at our own pace, but there is one basic truth we all learn early. Positive, compassionate words comfort and heal; negative words and insults hurt. Until recently, we knew this only because we could feel it. Now we can actually see it. Thanks to the experimental work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, we can look to water, and its frozen crystals, to confirm the healing power of beautiful music, positive thinking, uplifting speech, and prayer.
In his various books, the first of which was published in 1999, Dr. Emoto, a doctor of Alternative Medicine, introduced the novel idea that water not only reflects the physical word around it (as when we use a placid lake or pond as a mirror), but it also reflects the consciousness of the being surrounding it.
Dr. Masaru Emoto – Message in the Water Interview
If You Drink Water You Should Watch This! Amazing Secret of Water – Influenced With Sounds & Intent!
The experiment he used to discover this included bottles filled with water, that were set under either a positive or a negative influence. For example, some bottles of water were wrapped with written notes, with the writing facing inside the bottle, that said, “thank you.” This was done in various languages. No matter what language was used, the water in these bottles, when frozen, created complete crystals that were lovely to behold.
Water over which a priest prayed, with love and gratitude, created the same type of crystals. Conversely, unpleasant, incomplete, and malformed crystals were created in water exposed to people saying or writing, “You fool,” or other negative expressions.
By exposing water to a particular word or piece of music, freezing it, and photographing the ice crystals formed, Dr. Emoto has shown that from beautiful words and music, come beautiful crystals, and from mean-spirited, negative words, come malformed and misshapen crystals. What is the significance? It becomes clear when we remember that the adult human body is approximately 70% water and infant bodies are about 90% water. We can be hurt emotionally and, as the water can be changed, for the worse physically by negativity. However, we are always closer to beauty when surrounded by positive thoughts, words, intentions, and ultimately, those vibrations.

Dr. Emoto’s theories can be explored further by reading his books, The Hidden Messages in Water, The True Power of Water, The Secret Life of Water, Love Thyself, and now in his children’s books as well. His work is also presented in the movie What the Bleep Do We know?
“Water is very special to me. As a researcher, I have studied it and found that is has many magical qualities. I hope this seminar and my books will introduce you to the wonders of water so you will grow to love, value, and protect it. As children, you are very special to the world because you are our future. You see things in a bright, hopeful, and new way. I hope you hear my message about water, and use it to make positive changes for yourself, and for our world.”

Water Memory (2014 Documentary about Nobel Prize laureate Luc Montagnier)
Masaru Emoto has studied water for over twenty years. Water has been Dr. Masaru Emoto’s passion. He has studied water around the planet from the perspective of an original thinker, and is the author of a number of bestselling books, including a three-volume photo collection of beautiful water crystals, and now two children’s books about water. These books have been translated into more than thirty-five languages.
Dr Emoto is a longtime advocate for water and now spends the majority of his time traveling around the world giving seminars, in order to spread the message of peace that is indicated by the crystals he has photographed. He is President Emeritus of the International Water for Life Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that is in the process of distributing his free book for children The Message from Water, as promised in his keynote speech at the United Nations in 2005, to every child on the planet over the next ten years.
Dr. Masaru Emoto’s stunning water-crystal photographs have enchanted millions of people in his many books. His groundbreaking work has shown that thoughts and words have a direct effect on water-crystal formation, and since our bodies are mostly water, our thoughts and words certainly affect not only ourselves, but the world around us. In Dr. Emoto’s second book for children The Secret of Water, Dr. Emoto brings water’s message of love, peace, and hope to the next generation. Entertaining and educational, his book offers an understanding of water that will encourage parents and children alike to value and give thanks to our most precious resource.
In 2003 the United Nations proclaimed the years 2005-2015 as its International Water for Life Decade, which urges citizens of the world to take individual responsibility to learn all about water. In a time wrought with environmental catastrophes and natural disasters, The Secret of Water and his not-for-profit book, The Message from Water children’s version, show the necessity of protecting water, and offer messages of hope and empowerment. Help us shift consciousness through our thoughts, our words, and our prayers, and through our commitment to respect each other with love and gratitude. May our understanding of water help bring peace to all humankind.
*His work was featured in the award winning film “What the Bleep do we know!?” produced in USA in 2004 and also “Water the Mystery” produced in Russia in 2006.
*He was selected as Watkin’s spiritual master’s list for 2011 and 2012. He received a special award for water by Gala Spa Award in year 2012.
*Regretfully, he past away on October 17 2014 in a hospital in Tokyo, with his wife Kazuko by his side. His last words were “Arigato”. (“Thank you” in Japanese).
Hado
Hado: The intrinsic vibrational pattern at the atomic level in all matter. The smallest unit of energy. Its basis is the energy of human consciousness.

The Japanese researcher in question is Dr. Masaru Emoto, chief of the Hado Institute in Tokyo. He is the author of many books concerning the phenomenon of ‘Hado’. The two ideograms comprising this expression, Hado (pronounced hadou to rhyme with shadow) literally mean “wave” and “move”. This following definition is how Dr. Emoto himself describes the phenomenon, which led him to a series of remarkable discoveries pertaining to the nature of water.
A rapid understanding of Hado quickly spread throughout Japan as Dr. Emoto’s theory gained ground. The word subsequently became part of daily language. “The Hado of this place is really low. Let’s leave.” “That person has a really powerful Hado.” “Let’s change the Hado of this environment.” Conversational pieces such as this now abound in Japan and it is largely due to his revolutionary photographs of water crystals under high magnification. Frozen crystals of water? Yes, like this.

This is not just any crystallized molecule of water. What has put Dr. Emoto at the forefront of the Hado phenomenon is his proof that thoughts and feelings affect PHYSICAL reality. By producing different Hado through written and spoken words, as well as music, and literally presenting it to the SAME water samples, the water appears to “change its expression”. The exquisite beauty of the above crystal of frozen tap water is clearly the result of Hado being projected at it. The expression of human gratitude (arigatou) is thus immediately reflected in the water. “Arigatou” – Thank you in Japanese
Hado in Action
The theory of Hado postulates that, since all phenomena is at heart resonating energy, by changing the vibration we change the substance. Conventional science in general still does not support this notion. Yet quantum physics and in particular the ‘observer effect’ (of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle) clearly suggests we do alter our environment.

On the 25th of July 1999 at 04:30 in the morning, 350 people gathered and offered their words, facing Lake Biwa. Praying with us at that time was the thenv97 year old creator of the ” Great declaration”, Mr. Nobuo Shioya. The result of that was an incredible success that truly surprised us, the public at large. Concerning the outcome of that, here is how Mr. Shiotani described it in his book ‘Jizairyoku 2’ (Self sustaining power 2) published by Sunmark Press on September 25, 2000:
The largest lake in our land, the ‘water jar’ for the whole Kansai district, Lake Biwa in Shiga prefecture is an example without exception of horrendous pollution, with foul smelling and dirty water. No longer can we see the beautiful lake shore or the stock of ditch reeds there. Instead, every summer the surface of the lake is covered with a foreign species of aquatic plant called ‘kokanada’ algae which then putrefies.
It spreads a foul odor around the area, and so for over twenty years the prefecture has been carrying out a large scale operation to weed it out. However, last year (1999) during that summer only, for some reason this aquatic plant hardly emerged at all, and there were no complaints made to the city office as it is usually swamped with during a normal year. It was reported in the newspapers that none of the parties concerned could ascertain the cause of this and that they were all shaking their heads over it.
Naturally that would be the case when ‘something that was there is no more’, as in the phenomenon which occurred on the surface of Lake Biwa. This ‘miracle’ too can be be explained I think through the power of thought. It’s a fact that, as one of the ringleaders of this happening, nobody else but me could know that. In that year an event was held to clean up the waters of Lake Biwa by a group mainly involved in researching Hado.
If the waters of Biwa were to become clean, an old saying had it that all of Japan’s water would be purified, and so this congregation of people was there to use the power of Hado and Kotodama (the spirit of words) to try to do just that. I was also invited there, so headed for a hotel by the lakeside, where I gave a lecture on the method of ‘right mind and breath control’. Then, sometime on the next morning, about three hundred participants assembled on the lake shore. With myself in the middle we faced the lake’s surface and as the rising sun came up before us we chanted the ‘Great Declaration’: “The eternal power of the universe has gathered itself to create a world with true and grand harmony.”
led the group in doing this and everyone performed the intoning of the words ten times. The ‘Great Declaration’ as it literally says, by utilizing the limitless energy filling the universe, is a powerful statement to actualize world peace. These are words that can be clearly stated strongly as an established fact. By vocalizing this, the power of Kotodama, infused with the eternal energy of the universe, spreads to surrounding things and penetrates them, giving people world peace to begin with, many wishes fulfilled and happiness. That most powerful notion in words is also a statement that boosts that notion into actualization most strongly.
After cheering in chorus, I quickly excused myself and , being an old man, returned to the hotel. That happened last year in July. And then came this: “Every summer on Lake Biwa the foreign species of algae called kokanada, which almost covers the lake as it flourishes abnormally, is practically out of sight this year. In a normal year, the complaints of foul odor which come into Shiga prefecture have been nil this year, and the amount of algae cleaned up by the prefecture is a mere pittance.” It was a month later at the end of August when this was reported in the press.

However, if that was not a mysterious phenomenon it is still not something without a cause. Our thoughts that were sent out imbued with the great declaration curbed the emergence of an aquatic plant which was the source of a foul odour, and transformed the surface of the lake into a clean state. Our thoughts, requesting harmony and stability for all things through the ‘great declaration’ were transmitted clearly to grass and water, changing their qualities and purifying nature’s pollution although many people do not realize it, there you have a clear causal relationship existing. In this fashion, it is not only human minds but also all life forms in this world containing all things and phenomena, including substances in nature like water which respond to our human thoughts. They accept those thoughts and it changes their condition and quality.

One month and two days from that day on August 27th the Kyoto Shinbun newspaper, an influential local newspaper company, was surprised and very much pleased. This year complaints about the water in Lake Biwa have decreased. They say that the spread of the water algae condition has improved and that the foul odour has disappeared.
Introduction of Office Masaru Emoto
Office Masaru Emoto LLC started on January 23, 2008, as a company for the management of the activities for late Dr. Masaru Emoto, the founder and the author of world-wide best-sellers such as “Message from Water” (1999, HADO Kyoikusha, Co., Ltd.) and “Hidden Messages in Water” (2001, Sunmark Publishing,Inc), and for the taking care of water crystal photography.
The Mission of Office Masaru Emoto, LLC is to provide information on Truth of Water in an easy-to-understand manner to all citizens in the world. For this purpose, we will use the water crystal photography, and spread the message of water through seminars and workshops, various conferences and symposiums, websites and also certified Hado Instructors who live around the world.
Regrettably, former President Dr. Emoto passed away on October 17, 2014, but other staffs at Office Masaru Emoto, LLC took over his mission and continuously produced water crystal photographs and give seminars and workshops about our research of water.
Development of “New Science of Water”
Fortunately, we were able to have a connection with several of the world’s top scientists and researchers in the area of water research just before Dr. Emoto passed away, and we have been gradually learning the trend of the latest science of water.During this process, we have explored the concept of “The Fourth Phase of Water” proposed by Dr. Gerald Pollack at the University of Washington and the phenomenon called “DNA Teleportation” found by Dr. Luc Montanier, who received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2008 because he discovered Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) responsible for AIDS, and so on. And we have known that “Memory of Water” is discussed as one of the common-sense topics in the community of the newest science of water.Especially, Dr. Pollack has been highly evaluating “Message from Water” as the work suggesting “Memory of Water” although it was not written as a scientific report, and respecting the late Dr. Masaru Emoto. We are thankful for his understanding and support to our work.
With love and gratitude.
